Hello everyone, over the past few days i have been working on some fantasy/mythical descriptions for a game my cousin, brother and i are making.
I have decided to expand on our game and take the current timeline and bio on each race, character and religion from the game and expand it more.
upon that not here are some bios on a character and a race.
Chad Bowstring.
Chad Bowstring is a rough cut, masculine Dire Werewolf warrior who is a leader of one of the few remaining dire werewolf packs, which were formerly thought extinct.
Chad is also a descendant of one the most famous werewolves of all time, Romulus Bowstring, the first werewolf to use a bow and member of the council of the time when werewolves were cursed to be driven mad every full moon.
Like most werewolves, Chad can change between his human and wolf form though due to the fact he is a dire werewolf he turns into a dire wolf and like all ‘Bowstrings‘ he is highly skilled with the bow though he does not favour it as much as his relatives.
He is also distantly related to the werewolves of the south deserts. (Most famous of them being the Tasmanian tigers)
Chad as already mentioned is the leader of one of the few remaining dire werewolf packs. Due to the fact that the packs only emerged from hiding a few years ago, Chad is unsure yet whether to trust most of the kingdoms for fear they will try to stop them from uniting with their werewolf brethren and becoming stronger while others wish to study them for hopes of finding other thought extinct werewolves. He has only currently found peace in the forests of the Paladins and the cities of the Swordwraiths.
Chad one day hopes to find the Romulus’s lost bow and find the cure to the full moon curse.
Swordwraiths.
Though the term ‘wraith’ is in their name the swordwraiths are more like the samurai of the mythical world.
Founded in the ancient days when a group of swordsmen discovered a magical element that they could craft into a blade and the rest is history.
Swordwraiths warriors are some the most skilled warriors when it comes to the art of sword fighting and magic, a normal swordwraith warrior starts their training they train for many years or the while they learn the art of crafting and the warrior will then craft his sword and learn how to use the magical qualities of the blade.
While most Swordwraiths are pureblood, swordwraiths will accept other races to learn the art of a swordwraith.
If a swordwraith is given the opportunity to be the apprentice of the current swordwraith leader they will learn how to use the power of ‘The Helios blade’ which is a swordwraith sword infused with sun magic and is the blade of the swordwraith leader and will be passed down to his lieutenant who is also his apprentice.
The current swordwraith leader, Owen Gleeson, is the greatest swordsman to ever live and one of the greatest swordwraith leaders of all time.
The younger of two brothers Owen Gleeson is the youngest person to lead the swordwraiths, earning the role after a great battle in which Owen lost the use of his left eye. He is also the third swordwrath leader to wield a second sword.
His lieutenant, his brother, is highly skilled and powerful in swordwraith magic, and has been called ‘the muted warrior’ due to the fact he cannot talk and communicates through runic symbols.
Thank you for reading this post. I will be posting an expansion on the werewolves and their different qualities.
If you have any more questions on Chad or the swordwraiths (i.e what is Romulus Bowstrings story? or What caused the Full Moon Curse) I will be happy to add that to my list of things to expand. Also, let me know if you want me to expand upon Owen and his brother in my next few posts.
If you have any suggestions you think would be useful, like a unique quality the werewolves of the south had, leave them as well and I’ll see if i can add them in.
